Perfume Worldwide has an immediate opportunity for financial analyst in our operations area; responsible for analyzing complex data on company operations
This is not an IT/systems position. This position provides comprehensive financial and performance metric tracking and reporting to the company’s senior management. The position works with operational metrics and the impacts on sales and numerous individual performance measurements.
Professional Requirements:
- Reports results monthly, quarterly, year to date on departmental requests, as directed.
- Analyze monthly results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Maintains proprietary databases including data integrity, timeliness of data input and accuracy of data. Interprets data and recommends appropriate course of action.
- Expanded IT Financial Management role, participate, provide support and analysis specific to Budget Planning, Quarterly Projections and Year End Accrual processes.
- Perform Approvals of Promotional Deals.
- Conducting quantitative financial analysis by identifying and analyzing relevant data, and testing case theories and quantify benefit, harm, damages, and value.
- Conduct ad hoc and management reports, performance evaluation, scenario analysis, and variance analysis to assist leadership decision-making.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accuracy of financial performance report.
- Proposes, develops, and monitors sales plans, analyze trends, and prepares forecasting reports.
- Partners with Warehouse Operations team to modify labor strategies in order to make labor hour allocation more efficient and equitable across the fleet.
- Analyzes sales results for planning methodology improvements, and best practice modifications.
- Analyze past sales data and create models for event deal. Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting , Economics
